Education. 1921- graduate of Bowdoin College, 1924- Helson went on to Harvard where he obtained the Ph.D. in experimental psychology. -His career opened as instructor in psychology at Comell University, and closed at the University of Massachussets in 1971. 1964- Helson published Adaptation level theory.
