WebThe DCS engine calculates the movement of the weapon, so once it has been fired by the module, the module has no further control over the weapon and it's all up to DCS, where we had no insight into what sort of atmospheric drag and ballistic modelling etc. is done. WebIt's a good way to learn the systems. At the end of your startup, all lamps should be off. skip the BIT and lamp tests. they never fail; it's a waste of time in DCS. flip the CDU power switches before the APU is even spooled up, get that align going asap. flip on CICU, IFFCCI, and JTRS while you're waiting on the APU to spool up.

Put the reticle on something that needs to go poof and press the trigger all the way through the second detent.
